Alias Jones a fellow blogger posted a very informative and eye-opening video referred to as the “Zeitgeist Addendum”. It is exactly 2 hours of really tantalizing information, which makes one ask many questions about the way we humans live, from religion, banking system, armies, monetary systems, to democracy as we know it today.
First, the movie explains exactly how the economy works (The Monetary System). It can be pretty confusing and boring to figure out how Wall Street exactly works. So most of us turn away or tune out from trying to understand it and loose our ability to take charge of our decisions in a completely informed manner.
Second, the movie lays out why and how the monetary system enslaves millions of people around the world. How this process of enslavement actually takes place and what other external systems are put in place so that individuals do NOT question the system.
Third, the movie questions the legitimacy of institutions such as religion, army and our governments (around the world). It also analysis the corrupt nature of a "government" and why is it important to keep the corrupt system going.
Fourth, the movie asks and answers the question of “If we are the Empire (USA), who is the Emperor?” It is not our politicians as they are only a puppet of the system but our banking and monetary system, which can be summed as “Corprotocracy”. (Cooperations/Banking systems)
Which means: Corprotocracy and Globalism are the two faces of the same coin!
Finally, the movie ends with, how can a self sustainable system be created, where their wouldn’t be a need for “money”, “religion/faith”, “army”?
Zeitgeist: Addendum questions everything we know and believe in. To some it is only a joke and a laughable movie but to others, it can be a way to understand and dissect how the world is run and what can be done to change it for the betterment of the collective...
I say, Watch the movie and make up your own mind!
I would like to thank our fellow blogger, Alias Jones for bringing this important movie to our attention.
I am glad we live in an age of “technology” where information can be past on to others very quickly via the internet… We must at all cost protect the freedom of the internet, as it is our savour.
PLEASE PLAY THE MOVIE THE ZEITGEIST: ADDENDUM

I will. ... Not today, though. ... Why?
An úir a bhios an deóch a stigh, biann a chiall a muigh. (When drink is in, sense is out.)
Ha ha ha. Sláinte, Nevin!
Salute my dear friend! :)
I haven't seen the movie but from your description, it seems that I've been writing similar stuff.
http://meraba.wordpress.com/tag/organizmalar/
Zeynel, nice to meet you. :) Welcome to my blog...
I read your post... I think you will find the movie quite interesting as it's kind of relates to your article....
Watch it when you have the time. :)
Zeitgeist movement has been around for quite some time. In fact, I was an early advocate of the original movie, as well as others similar that try to tie in the federal reserve, and 9/11, as well as the 'deep state.'
But... the 'conspiracy' angle is overplayed, and once again, due to the messenger's labeling in a 'negative' light, the message gets lost.
I prefer to stick to the theory that the 'sky is not falling,' and the system will correct itself if it's not interfered or messed with.
Failing companies should be allowed to fail, unlike what the 'pundits' (who know nothing except be loudmouths like Ali Velshi, Jim Kramer et al) are yelling and screaming against.... (for whatever reason -- you be the judge!)
Instead, I subscribe to Ron Paul's cooler heads should prevail theory of engaging the fight against misinformation... without the 'kooky' perception...
If we are to apply this to the current mess, it's ironic to hear Ariana Huffington call out Obama Administration as 'impotent' tonight.
Obama's kingsmen subscribe to the failed policy of if something didn't work (overspending for the past 8 years), it's best to correct it with even more dosage (more spending) of the same.
Obama is a great orator. And symbolically he is good for this country, as an ideologue.
But the presidency is NOT the figurehead queenship as it is elsewhere.
And inept and inexperienced (as some of his own party members like Hillary et al called him) Obama looks like he will be the David Dinkins (former NY mayor) of the U.S.
The people are losing their liberties!!! And stupidity is taking shape in Washington... What's worse, people are being asked (or forced) to be POOR!
... in a class warfare between 'us' and the 'rich' (who are being stripped of their 'cash' as well)...
Time to wake up and STUDY what's going on rather than accept what we are being told (which changes from day to day -- to further confuse us -- on purpose)...
:)
Liberty & Constitution is the key!!!!
As Thomas Jefferson said, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
Government needs to GET OUT of AIG and others. And saying, we've already invested $160 billion, how can we walk out now is NOT the answer!!!
Leave before the problem gets worse...
This is the 'POOR-IZATION' of the people...
Geitner, Summers, and Bernanke (as well as other leeches) have to GO!!!
ive been hearing about this film for qute a long time, yet, havent watched yet. i hope i can find time to do it today.
Nevin, that movie could have been so much longer. The Economic hit man divulged about certain countries but not all. Indonesia was another country that the multi-nationals orgainised a coup so they could get access to its markets.
Indonesia was controlled by the Dutch for 350 years. Achmad Sukarno, led his people to independence from Colonial rule and became the first President of the Republic of Indonesia in 1949.
Achmad Sukarno was a nationalist. He unified all the Indonesian people of differing ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds without any fighting or violence. He wanted a free and peaceful Indonesia.
Achmad Sukarno wanted Economic independence for his people. He told Western countries to go to hell, he threw out the IMF and the World Bank and he pulled Indonesia out of the United Nations. His refusal to allow Western corporations to operate in Indonesia, and his friendly liaisons with the communist parties, was seen to be the beginning of his downfall.
The USA had long sought to unseat Sukarno. The USA funded an opposition political party in the mid 1950’s, sponsored a massive military overthrow attempt in 1958 and planned his assassination in 1961. Sukarno could not be overthrown, not until a coup in 1965. In September1965, Sukarno was overthrown by a Coup, led by General Suharto. General Suharto seized power aided by USA, Britian and Western Business Leaders.
When General Suharto came to power, his army murdered approximately one million people. It was one of the worst massacres of the century, anybody who was suspected of being a communist was murdered. The US government supplied names of thousand of Communist Party leaders to the Indonesian army, who in turn hunted and killed them. One million people had to die, in order for the rich to reap the benefits of Globalisation. It is reported that, “... in four months, five times as many people died in Indonesia than in Vietnam in twelve years.”
Indonesia was previously a country under Dutch rule, they were a Dutch Colony. Today however, the new rulers of the world are the IMF, World bank and the Multinational companies.
Globalisation, as seen in Indonesia, is just another form of Colonisation.
I watched the original movie last year and found the "Addendum" to be much more elaborate and informative.
Just like any critical documentary or a movie, there were some flows with it. My major problem was the last bit, which is the solution part. In my opinion, big majority of humans are either corrupt or corruptible. So there can never be a perfect system, as along as humans live, there will be someone who will try to work the system to his or her advantage.... But I can definitely see the monetary system is not working for all. It is definitely working for some but not for all.... !
As for John Perkins. I read his book two years ago, and found it to be a huge eye opener... As Ardent points out, there were quite a bit of countries which "Corprotocracy" had meddled in, but was not mentioned in the movie...
I am not too fond of the word "Conspiracy Theory". Any time anyone is criticizing the system is branded as a conspiracy theorist... This movie was just asking some important questions... that's all....
Whether one subscribes to such analogy/depiction or not is an individual matter of course. That... I will leave it up to the interpreter...
As for myself.... I see many many problems with the current system that we have created, why not change it for the better... :) or at least improve it...
TT, I think Ron Paul makes a lot of sense!...
I'd like to recommend another movie to those who haven't heard about it or seen it...
The Secret..."
:)
This topic is hard for me to comment on, since so many issues are brought up, and my analysis is much different.
I'll say one thing overall, to be pondered. In the end you are judged by what you are for, not what you're against.
thats so true, renegade eye.
Renegade eye: I would have loved to hear your perspective on the issue.... :) Maybe next time....
I find your last statement very true as well...
Reading Ardent's example, Lumumba crossed my mind.
As for Ren's remark: Agreed. Following the spirit that always negates is obviously easier than offering proposals how to change "things" for the better.
May be it's due both to the dominance of our laziness gene and to the devil in the details.
PS: As it would have taken too long, and not to multiply the complexity, for a beginning I did not mention the intelligence matter. :)
you are so right sean. it is a complex matter.
